Still hesitating?
Do I need specific hardware to get started?
No. A phone and a browser are enough. To go further, you can connect IoT sensors (temperature, GPS) via the FIWARE NGSI-LD federation, but this is never a prerequisite.
Does my data stay mine?
Yes. Your recipes and ingredient lists are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM, per-account derived key). The public passport only contains what you decide to publish. JSON-LD exports let you retrieve everything at any time.
Does it replace my ERP or management software?
No — and that's intentional. VeraTrace plugs on top of your existing systems via API, ETL or CSV imports. We handle the traceability, attestation and passport layer. Your ERP keeps its role.
Which certifications are recognised on passports?
AB, HVE, AOP, IGP, Label Rouge, STG, Demeter, Nature & Progrès, Bleu-Blanc-Cœur, MOF, Concours Général Agricole — among others. Each distinction is anchored on-chain and publicly verifiable.
Who can verify my attestations?
Anyone. Every attestation carries an Ed25519 signature and a public Reference Number. The auditor enters the number on the verification page, the system replays the signature and the Merkle proof. No account required.
How much does it cost if I'm a solo producer?
The Discovery Kit is 49 € per unit, no commitment. Pioneers move to the Farm plan at 199 € / year instead of 299 € — locked in for life.
