Your herd feed delivery notes arrive in EDIFACT. VeraTrace ingests them without re-entry and automatically chains the feed → milk → cheese genealogy. GS1 France × CNIEL standard published in March 2025.

Your cooperative issues an electronic delivery note in Bovalim format. You want these feed deliveries to automatically feed the traceability of your milk batches.

I collect from several members

You are a GS1 France member and already Bovalim compatible. You want your farmer clients to be able to use your deliveries without specific integration on the ERP side.

- Feed ID cards read from CodeOnline
How it works
- Étape 1
Your manufacturer issues a Bovalim DESADV (PCI+10, GIN+BX, NAD+BY GLN…)
- Étape 2
VeraTrace ingests it via /api/bovalim/desadv/upload (manual V1, SFTP in progress)
- Étape 3
You link the milk batches that descend from this delivery to the parsed feed batches
- Étape 4
The public passport chains feed → milk → cheese, verifiable in blockchain
V1 limitations (transparency)
- •Manual upload only — SFTP polling comes with sprints 5–6.
- •GS1 CodeOnline ID cards in stub mode until VeraTrace joins GS1 France.
- •Dairy cattle sector only — Bovalim does not exist for sheep/goats/pigs in V1.
